Santee Instrumental Music & Colorguard

The Santee Falcon Guard is the school's Colorguard Flag team, open to students in all grades.  Under the direction of Ms. Karen Orozco, the Falcon Guard learns traditional flag, rifle, and sabre technique with unique choreography and skill.  Students compete with the Marching Band during the fall semester at Band competitions around the state.  During the Winter season the students compete exclusively as the Falcon Guard and Winterguard competitions.  Rehearsals are after school from 3:00pm-5:00pm.

 

Auditions for a spot on the team occur in the Spring Semester of each year.  Stop by the Band Room , C-100, and speak with Mr. Manriquez for more information.
