Beginning Band-Instruments A/B
Santee offers the course Instruments A/B for students interested in learning to play a Band instrument in a concert band setting. Students learn to play their instrument through various song representative of different historical periods and different cultures. Performances include school concerts through the fall and spring semesters, and participation in the class satisfies the F graduation requirement.
Students can learn to play the following instruments:
Flute, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Saxophone
Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Baritone, Tuba
Snare Drum, Bass Drum, Xylophone, Cymbals
Students who complete the class successfully will be eligible to audition for the Sanee Falcon Marching Band, Advanced Wind Ensemble, and Jazz Band.
