Jazz Ensemble
The Santee Jazz Ensemble is an optional afterschool ensemble for students wanting to pursue additional musical experiences. Students who participate in Jazz Ensemble perform music from various Jazz styles including Swing, Latin, Fusion, and Contemporary while focusing on improvisational skills and technique. There are several performances throughout the year both at school and out in the local community.
Students may participate on the following instruments:
Woodwind: Flute, Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Baritone Saxophone
Brass: Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone,

Rhythm Section: Drumset, Piano, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Vibraphone
