Percussion Ensemble
The Santee Percussion ensemble is an advanced group intended for percussionists wishing to further their skills development through the learning of advanced techniques, musical repertoire, and instrumentations. Students can participate in Drumline Percussion, Mallet Percussion, and Auxilary Percussion Instruments.
Interested students will be accepted through audition and teacher recommendation. Committment, discipline, and a desire to learn are a must. Rehearsals are after school on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Students may participate on the following instruments:
Drumline: Snare, Tenor, Bass Drum

Mallet Percussion: Marimba, Xylophone, Vibraphone, Bells
Auxiliary Percussion: Timpani, Concert Snare, Bass Drum, Cymbals, Chimes, Synthesizer, Hand Percussion
